The village is surrounded by an amazing mountainous landscape. It is the ideal place for hikers and adorers of the countryside, while it can be used as your base for visiting interesting sights in the wider region, like: the neighboring villages Paliochori, Ag. Vasilios and Platanaki, the monastery of Elona, Leonidion, the seaside villages of Plaka and Poulithra, Geraki with the Byzantine churches, Monemvasia and Mystras.

Nature and sport lovers can enjoy hiking and biking trips through passages in the surrounding forests, dominated by fir-trees, and springs with ice-cold and extreme quality water, like for example in Potistres.
